The Reception
Our reception is open everyday 8:00 am - 12:00 noon 
Check in afteropening hours only by agreement with the reception.
On the day of departure; check out time is at 10 am.

The guest kitchens are reserved for individuals and families, and may not be used by groups.

No animal apart from guide dogs are allowed in the hostel

Smoking policy
All rooms, corridors, lounges, the guest kitchen and reception are no smoking. The no smoking rule applies to the staff and guests alike. 
The smoking ban has been implemented to ensure a pleasant environment for our guests during their stay in Danhostel Køge.

International Hostelcard
If you, as a visitor to Denmark, have not purchased a hostel card through the hostel organisation in your own country, you can buy an international hostel card here.
The international hostel card costs DKK 160 and is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Children under 18 years of age, travelling with adults, do not need a hostel card.
If all guests over 18 years of age, staying in same room, have a valid internationalt hosteling card - Danhostel Køge will give you a 10 % discount on the price of the room.

When departing from the hostel, please leave the room clean and tidy and as you found it on arrival.

  • Bed linen package with one towle  is included in the Price and must be used
  • Sleepingbags or your own bedlinen are not permitted
  • Out of consideration for other guests, the hostel must be quiet from 11.00 p.m - 7.00 am.
  • Alcohol and other intoxicants are not permitted at the hostel
  • Preparation of meals and eating in your room are not permitted - please use guest kitchen.
The hosts are responsible for the hostel's daily operation and their guidelines must therefore be followed.
